Season 4 of Voltron: Legendary Defender is the fourth season of DreamWorks Animation's and Netflix's Voltron reboot. The season was released on Netflix on October 13, 2017.

Season four aired October 13, 2017. Upon watching all the end credits of Season Three's final episode, The Legend Begins, on Netflix, the official trailer for this season automatically played and confirmed its release date. Unlike previous seasons, it did not air an episode ahead of schedule at any notable convention, but did air clips at New York Comic Con 2017.
Season 4 was globally released on Netflix on October 13, 2017. The season consists of six episodes. Originally, Season 3 was to be a longer season in the style of Seasons 1 and 2, but Netflix decided to split the season in two in order to release content more often.

- During New York Comic Con 2017, marking his first official appearance at a panel for Voltron, AJ LoCascio was trapped in an elevator for several minutes with panel crew along with Josh Keaton, Kimberly Brooks, Joaquim Dos Santos, and Lauren Montgomery right as the panel was scheduled to start.[2][3][4]
