Trendmasters was an American toy company that produced toys for the Voltron franchise from the mid to late '90s. Its main focus was creating various toys for the Voltron: The Third Dimension cartoon which included several combining toys.
Combining toys[]
Before the launch of Third Dimension, Trendmasters re-issued the original Popy DX Golion toy with modifications done to its mold and painting. Unlike the 1984 Matchbox version of Voltron III, the weaponry for both the combined robot and individual lions were included in a gold color. Other painting changes were made to make the face black and the yellows more muted.[1]
