Rhys Darby is the voice actor of Coran. He is also a stand-up comedian, an actor who has performed in several TV series and films, and a writer and producer.

Rhys Darby is best known as ‘Murray’ in HBO’s FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDS and as ‘Guy Mann’ from the 10th season of the revived FOX series, THE X-FILES.
He can be seen in the upcoming film CELEBRITY DEATH POOL opposite David Hasselhoff. He made his feature film debut in YES MAN with Jim Carrey and then opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman in Richard Curtis’ PIRATE RADIO. More recently Rhys appeared in Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi ‘s WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS and Waititi’s HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE.
On the TV side, Rhys can been seen in the upcoming TBS series, WRECKED in which he stars alongside Zach Cregger.Additionally, Rhys recurs on the popular new CBS series LIFE IN PIECES, which stars Colin Hanks and Betsy Brandt. He previously recurred on TV Land’s HOT IN CLEVELAND. Rhys wrote, executive produced and starred in SHORT POPPIES for TVNZ in his native New Zealand. Netflix released the series in the US, UK and Canada.
Rhys performs his standup all across the United States and internationally, including such popular venues as The Late Show with David Letterman, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Montreal’s Just for Laughs, NY Comedy Festival and Bonnaroo.[1]
