As Golion returns to Altea, the Blue Lion malfunctions and crashes, and is rescued by a mysterious young man. At the castle, the young man identifies himself as Saint, and reveals that he is a survivor from the Galra. When Raible sees Saint wearing a necklace that Raible put on his infant son years ago, he tells Saint that he is in fact his son.
