Princess Corral was the beautiful princess of Planet Demos, one of the other most powerful empires in the known universe. Corral was once brought before Prince Lotor to be his bride in order to fuse stronger bonds between Demos and Doom, but Lotor refused to go along with his father's plan. Eventually, after loosing to Voltron yet again, Lotor became angry with Corral and sent her home.
