The Omega Shield Station is a Galra base in stationary orbit above an unnamed labor colony. It came under attack from Sendak's fleet after its Commander, Bogh, refused to pledge loyalty to the Fire of Purification.
Fortunately for the occupants of the base and the colony it protects from radiation storms, Voltron arrived and was able to restore its protective shields to functionality.
