Hutch is a member of the Vehicle Voltron Land Team, he is friends with Voltron pilot Marvin, he likes playing cards or brawling. Hutch is a regular tough guy, always looking for a good fight. He pilots the All-Terrain Space Vehicle that forms the left foot of Voltron.

Hutch was one of several people chosen to pilot the machine named "V-15" by Galaxy Garrison, he and his team were first deployed after the original Voltron to recapture it until he received new orders to support Voltron.
