Honerva is a witch serving Emperor Daibazaal of the Galra Empire. She is also his mother, making Prince Sincline her grandson. She is responsible for creating the enemies Golion must battle every episode.

Trivia

While Honerva dies at the end of the Beast King GoLion series. The scene of her death was cut in the Voltron: Defender of the Universe adaptation.
