I could help you out there. You didn't actually add to the template itself, you added to the blank template call for editors to copy into pages - it's a start, but there's much more to it. If your intention was just to add a field for a link, that's easy, but in the process you've raised a question which is, "What's the best place to link to?"
So far the current position is:
- The Black Paladin
- The Black Paladin transcript
My personal preference is:
- The Black Paladin/Transcript
In this second example, the transcript is a sub page of a parent article. That way if the parent article needs to be moved for some reason, you can move the parent article, the talk page for the article, and the transcript page, all in one move.
It's up to you. Which way do you prefer?
As for the template, I could slip in the extra field as you intended, or I could do something like this where there is a link in the bottom of the infobox that is activated by supplying "on" or "yes" in the "Skins Link" field. Alternatively, the episode infobox could autogenerate a link, although in that case you'd suddenly have a multitude of transcript pages to make, or increase the page load times with ifexist calls. It's probably better to stick to a basic blank field, or manually triggered template link.
