Anyone Else?

Anyone else noticed that when you edit an article on a character it immediately gets re-written to it's original state and then editing options gets closed?

Intentional. The wiki has been getting hit with mass amounts of repeated vandalism so many character pages are currently locked to admin edits only.

Vandalism? You mean opinionated/true fan edits or total off topic crap?

There is a very big difference between the two.

Both.

Yes well fan opinions aren't vandalism. If they are true or from their perspective it shouldn't be changed right away. One, it shows that you're dismissing their feelings/insight to the things they love. Two, that's just rude. Other people watch the show, not just you. This overall site, Fandom Wiki, was made for the fans to post their opinions for other less knowing fans who need want clarification, knowledge on their favorite/least favorite characters. Take that into consideration the next time you edit someones revision.

"Yes well fan opinions aren't vandalism."
>someone makes klance edits like the ones done about 20 times a month every single month by different accounts i.e. "Relatives: Lance (Boyfriend)" and "Relatives: Keith (Boyfriend)".
>mod removes and blocks account.
>wiki is suddenly hit with an influx of people editing in klance and ruining Keith and Lance's pages in general.
>mod locks Keith and Lance's pages.
>more pages are vandalized for klance and random bs immediately afterward.
>mod blocks about 20 accounts in a single weekend instead of a single month and locks all pages being hit+more until an abuse filter can be set up to prevent these edits in the future.

Nah it's vandalism and locking pages is 100% within a mod's right when people are being disrespectful quiznaks to mods and everyone else who actually tries contributing to the wiki with their time, effort, and good will in a positive manner.

But it seems you're grossly misunderstanding the purpose of this wiki. It is a database; it strives to be objective and accurate to the canon. It is not set up for fan opinions. No one is dismissing anyone's feelings or insight into things they love by removing non-canon edits, such as yours that claimed Lance had clinical depression. Nothing exists stating that in the canon (episodes), secondary canon (comics), or supplementary canon (third-party merch like guidebook). Your personal feelings and interpetation on the series or a character belong on your personal blog, not a database that shows up immediately in Google for anyone searching for information on the series. I have no intention of misleading people to believe a ship is canon or that Lance has depression when neither of those things are true.

I still consider your edit as general "vandalism for the sake of making headcanons canon", but the reason you were not blocked for that edit is because it is not like the usual spam ("vandalism for the sake of ships being canon"), and you did not try to edit it back in after it was removed. Edit wars aren't needed. Please understand that this site is for canon information and objectivity, not people's opinions, and pages will be locked to admins to protect from vandals and raids. Make a fanon wiki for your own ideas if you want.
